Now that I am a new Mum, I have learned first hand the incredible changes that happen in the woman’s body pre and post pregnancy and want to inspire Mum’s to break the stigma associated with ‘getting your pre baby body back quick.
Too many women succumb to the pressures on social media and make the mistake of doing too much too soon and trigger many issues such as incontinence, lower back, hip and pelvic pain.
If you are at least 6 weeks Postpartum and have had clearance from a GP or Pelvic Floor Physio, this programme is for you. Return safely to exercise which focuses on reestablishing pelvic floor, core strength and hip stability.
Your body has gone through alot during your pregnancy. You can bring your baby along with you! A relaxed session enabling you to feel comfortable to feed or tend to your baby as needed throughout the session.
Sessions use light resistance, swissballs and resistance bands and are suitable for Mums of all fitness levels. I ensure a safe environment for Mums to workout alongside their babies.
Along with my support you will also receive a post-natal exercise book full of useful info and will enable you to record your journey. A great way to meet other amazing Mums!
Should I exercise during pregnancy?
The answer is YES! Exercise has many health benefits for you and your growing baby. However, there is a safe way to go about it.
I can facilitate healthy, safe and manageable exercise practices to assist in preparing Mum’s for birth and postnatal recovery to prevent injury and foster the healing process.
How soon should I exercise after baby arrives?
It is recommended you see a Pelvic health specialist for assessment or get clearance from your GP after 6 weeks postpartum.
